DGCA Section 7.1 · Firmware Compliance Engineering

Firmware Implementation and Software Validation for DGCA Section 7.1 Compliance.

We implement and validate firmware and software controls designed to address applicable DGCA Section 7.1 requirements on your existing ArduPilot or PX4 platform—including secure boot, integrity checks, POST, and signed firmware and parameter updates—without requiring a hardware replacement.

Section 7.1 Controls, Implemented and Bench-Validated on Working Firmware

Most teams begin their compliance work when the certification timeline is already underway. We started earlier. Our reference implementation covers firmware integrity, secure updates, POST, and compliance-critical parameter controls mapped to DGCA Section 7.1. On supported ArduPilot and PX4 builds, we use RSA-2048 signatures and SHA-256 hashing, with bench validation on Pixhawk-standard hardware. We also offer two additional security controls: a signed, offline-verifiable audit log and an authenticated ground-station link.

  • 9 Section 7.1 controls, built & bench-validated — 7 named plus 2 additional security controls
  • Proven on both ArduPilot & PX4 — one discipline either way
  • Zero hardware swaps, no fork lock-in — built onto the platform you already fly
  • Every control mapped to the applicable clause and planned objective evidence

We work directly from the applicable CSUAS text, not from a summary. Each control is traced to the relevant clause and the objective evidence planned for the Type Certification submission. This disciplined approach helps reduce avoidable observations and rework during assessment.
